9ABOTA je hrvatski dio programa WWBOTA. Aktivatori rade portabl i mobilno s utvrda iz 20. stoljeća, a lovci ih love u eteru i skupljaju bunker reference. 9ABOTA is the Croatian part of the WWBOTA scheme. Activators operate portable and mobile from 20th-century fortifications, while hunters chase them on the air and collect bunker references.

WWBOTA (Worldwide Bunkers on the Air) radioamaterska je aktivnost otvorena radioamaterima i SWL slušačima diljem svijeta. Spaja radio i povijest: radioamateri „aktiviraju” povijesne bunkere portabl ili mobilnim radom, a lovci (hunteri) održavaju veze s njima i, ako žele, skupljaju posebne bunker reference.

WWBOTA (Worldwide Bunkers on the Air) is an amateur radio activity open to radio amateurs and shortwave listeners worldwide. It is an exciting mix of radio and history: amateurs ‘activate’ historic bunker locations with portable and mobile operations, while hunters and chasers make QSOs with them and, should they wish, collect the special bunker reference numbers.

Diplome za aktiviranje i lov su besplatne, ali ne morate juriti za diplomama. Dovoljno je napraviti vezu ili slušati. Kako god pristupili, zabavite se!

Free awards for activating and hunting bunkers are available, but it is also fine if you just want a QSO or to listen in. Whatever your approach – have fun!

    Radi iz zone aktivacije bunkera (do 1000 m) i treba 25 veza na KV-u ili 5 na UKV-u.Operates from within a bunker’s activation zone (up to 1000 m) and needs 25 QSOs on HF or 5 on VHF.

    Iz bilo koje zemlje lovi aktivatore u eteru. Remote stanice su dopuštene.From any country, chases activators on the air. Remote stations are allowed.

    Pročitaj 9ABOTA pravila i lokalne posebnosti. Ne moraš biti rezident: ako ti licenca dopušta rad u Hrvatskoj, možeš aktivirati kao gost.Read the 9ABOTA rules and any local variations. You don’t have to be resident: if your licence lets you operate in Croatia, you may activate as a visitor.

  2. Odaberi bunkerPick a bunker

    Pronađi bunker na karti i popisu. Reference imaju oblik B/9A-0001: „B/”, oznaka zemlje i četveroznamenkasti broj.Find one on the map and list. References look like B/9A-0001: ‘B/’, a country code and a four-digit number.

  3. Kombiniraj programeCombine schemes

    Potičemo aktivacije s više programa odjednom, npr. POTA park, svjetionik i 9ABOTA bunker istovremeno.Multi-scheme activations are encouraged, e.g. a POTA park, a lighthouse and a 9ABOTA bunker at the same time.

  4. Spotaj seSpot yourself

    Spotaj se preko WWBOTA clustera ili iz Ham2K Portable Loggera. Spotovi automatski idu i u WhatsApp grupu „Spots and Alerts”.Spot via the WWBOTA cluster or from the Ham2K Portable Logger. Spots are forwarded automatically to the WhatsApp Spots and Alerts group.

  5. Zovi CQ BOTACall CQ BOTA

    Najviše se radi na 40 m i 20 m SSB, ali rastu i viši KV opsezi te UKV. Aktiviralo se već u SSB, CW, FT8, FT4, RTTY, PSK i SSTV načinu rada.Most activity is on 40 m and 20 m SSB, but higher HF bands and VHF are growing. Bunkers have been activated on SSB, CW, FT8, FT4, RTTY, PSK and SSTV.

    Sigurnost i dopuštenjaSafety and permissions
    • Aktivatorima se snažno preporučuje da prije aktivacije zatraže dopuštenje vlasnika zemljišta i procijene osobnu sigurnost.
    • To što je bunker na 9ABOTA popisu ne znači da je bunker ili njegova okolina siguran ili da je ulazak dopušten. Uvijek pitajte za dopuštenje.
    • 9ABOTA ne preuzima odgovornost za probleme nastale tijekom aktivacije, npr. zbog neosiguranog pristupa lokaciji ili osobne sigurnosti.
    • Activators are strongly advised to seek permission from landowners and to conduct a personal safety assessment before an activation.
    • The listing of a bunker on the 9ABOTA reference list does not in any way indicate that a bunker, or its vicinity, is safe or legal to enter. Always ask permission.
    • 9ABOTA accepts no responsibility for any issues arising from the activation of a bunker, e.g. failing to ensure appropriate access to a site or matters of personal safety.

    • Bunker je utvrđena ili ojačana građevina iz 20. stoljeća namijenjena položajnoj obrani, motrenju ili kriznom upravljanju. Popis uključuje deklasificirane vojne bunkere i bunkere civilne zaštite, skladišne i pomoćne bunkere, zapovjedna mjesta zračnih luka, zaklone od udarnog vala i skloništa za zračne napade. Mnogi su pod zemljom, ali ne svi.
    • 9ABOTA referenca je bunker s 9ABOTA glavnog popisa. Najnovija verzija je na wwbota.net/list.
    • Aktivator je stanica koja radi s referenciranog 9ABOTA bunkera.

    • A bunker is a 20th-century fortified or hardened structure for positional defence, observation or crisis management. The list includes declassified military and civil defence bunkers, storage and utility bunkers, Airfield Battle HQs, blast shelters and air raid shelters. Many are underground, but by no means all.
    • A 9ABOTA reference is a bunker listed on the 9ABOTA Master List; the latest version is at wwbota.net/list.
    • An activator is a station operating from a 9ABOTA referenced bunker.
    • A hunter is a station chasing activators, i.e. making QSOs with stations at 9ABOTA bunkers.
    • VHF in the context of 9ABOTA awards means any band from 6 m (50 MHz) upwards, inclusive.
    • B2B (‘bunker to bunker’) is a QSO between two activators at two different bunkers.
    • An activator may activate more than one bunker at a time, up to a maximum of 5. A five-bunker activation is often called a ‘5fer’.
    Valjana 9ABOTA vezaValid 9ABOTA QSO
    • Veza mora biti bez pomoći. Obje stanice moraju same primiti pozivne znakove, raport i potvrde, bez posredovanja treće stanice.
    • To je minimum, a mnogi aktivatori daju i više informacija. Lovcima je često zanimljivo čuti nešto o povijesti i zemljopisu bunkera.
    • Korištenje WebSDR-a za primanje raporta u lošim uvjetima nije dopušteno.
    • Lovci smiju koristiti remote stanice.
    • Korištenje repetitora nije dopušteno.
    • Dopušteni su svi opsezi i načini rada koje dopušta licenca. Rad izvan uvjeta licence čini vezu nevaljanom.
    • Preporučujemo poštivanje DX Code of Conduct.
    • A valid QSO must be unassisted. Both stations must copy callsigns, signal reports and confirmations without the help of a third-party station.
    • That is the minimum; many activators give more. Hunters often enjoy hearing a little about the history or geography of the bunker.
    • Using a WebSDR to receive signal reports in poor conditions is not permitted.
    • Hunters may use remote stations.
    • Repeaters are not permitted.
    • Any band and mode your licence permits may be used. Operating outside licence conditions makes a QSO invalid.
    • Participants are strongly encouraged to follow the DX Code of Conduct.
    Valjana aktivacijaValid activation
    • Za valjanu aktivaciju potrebno je 25 veza na KV-u ili mješovito KV/UKV, ili 5 veza samo na UKV-u. Aktivacija se može skupljati kroz više dana.
    • Veza s istim lovcem na drugom opsegu broji se kao dodatna. Veza s istim lovcem drugim načinom rada ne broji se, osim ako je drugog dana. Posebne diplome mogu imati drukčije uvjete.
    • Zona aktivacije je 1000 m od lokacije bunkera s 9ABOTA popisa. Mnogi rade što bliže bunkeru, uz poštivanje sigurnosti i dopuštenja.
    • Nije dopušteno aktivirati s fiksne kućne stanice, čak ni ako je u zoni aktivacije. Postoje dvije iznimke:
      1. Aktivator smije raditi sa svog posjeda u zoni aktivacije ako je izvan glavnog shacka, na baterijsko napajanje i bez antena glavne stanice, npr. „garden portable” ili iz auta na prilazu.
      2. Aktivator smije raditi iz zone aktivacije s mrežnim napajanjem i fiksnom antenom ako koristi pozivni znak posebnog događaja ili klupski pozivni znak.
    • Aktivator mora stvarno „aktivirati bunker”. Nije dovoljno da je stanica slučajno u zoni aktivacije ako ne izvodi bunker aktivaciju.
    • Lovac i aktivator smiju biti u zoni aktivacije istog bunkera.
    • An activation is valid with 25 QSOs on HF or mixed HF/VHF, or 5 QSOs on VHF only. It can be completed over several days.
    • A QSO with the same hunter on a different band counts as an additional QSO. A different mode with the same hunter does not, unless it is on a different day. Specific awards may have their own requirements.
    • The activation zone is 1000 m from the bunker location on the 9ABOTA list. Many activators like to operate as close to the bunker as possible, mindful of safety and permissions.
    • You may not activate from your fixed home station, even if it is within the zone, with two exceptions:
      1. You may activate from your property within the zone if you are away from your main shack, on battery power and not using your main station antennas, e.g. ‘garden portable’ or from your car on the driveway.
      2. You may activate from a zone with mains power and a fixed antenna if a Special Event or Club callsign is used.
    • An activator must actually be ‘activating the bunker’; merely being inside a zone without conducting an activation does not count.
    • A hunter and an activator may both be within the zone of the same bunker for a valid QSO.
    Više bunkera i više programaMultiple bunkers and schemes
    • Kad su bunkeri blizu pa im se zone aktivacije preklapaju, iz područja preklapanja mogu se aktivirati svi takvi bunkeri, do najviše 5 („5fer”).
    • 9ABOTA snažno potiče aktivacije s više programa, npr. POTA park, svjetionik i 9ABOTA bunker istovremeno. Provjerite pravila ostalih programa.
    • Where bunkers are close together and their activation zones overlap, all of them can be activated from the overlap area, up to a maximum of 5 (a ‘5fer’).
    • 9ABOTA strongly encourages multi-scheme activations, e.g. a POTA park, a lighthouse and a 9ABOTA bunker together. Check the other schemes’ own rules.
    Popis bunkera i spotanjeBunker list and spotting
    • Novi bunkeri povremeno se dodaju na popis. Prije svakog ažuriranja na društvenim mrežama i u WhatsApp grupi objavljuje se poziv za prijedloge novih referenci ili izmjena postojećih.
    • Trenutne aktivacije najlakše je pratiti na WWBOTA clusteru (za spotanje je potrebna registracija) ili u spotovima uživo na ovoj stranici.
    • Spotati se može na WWBOTA clusteru ili funkcijom self-spot u Ham2K Portable Loggeru. Spotovi 9ABOTA bunkera automatski idu u WWBOTA Spots and Alerts WhatsApp grupu.
    • New bunkers are added to the list from time to time. Before each update, a call for proposals for new references (or amendments) is posted on social media and in the WhatsApp group.
    • Current activations are easiest to follow on the WWBOTA cluster (registration required to spot) or in the live spots on this page.
    • Spots can be made on the WWBOTA cluster or with the self-spot function in Ham2K Portable Logger. 9ABOTA spots are forwarded automatically to the WWBOTA Spots and Alerts WhatsApp group.
